The Villa Rey wine cellar offers a variety of beverages from light bubbly prosecco to the important local vintages, by the bottle or by the glass. In summer you can enjoy an aperitif by the sparkling pool, and in cool weather relax in front of the fireplace. After dinner, choose from an extensive selection of Italian grappa.

Wine plays an important part in Umbrian cuisine and due to the region’s optimal growing conditions, the production of wine in Umbria can be traced back to ancient times. Umbria’s most famous wine may be its white wine produced from grechetto grapes which are largely found in the Orvieto area, but Umbria’s red wines, particularly the Sagrantino di Montefalco is quickly catching up in popularity. The owners, the Rey family, even produce their own organic vintage of red wine, Sette Rey.
