Church of St. Christopher (X-XI Cent).
This is one of the most interesting monuments in Passignano sul Trasimeno. The interior, with three naves, is in the form of a Latin cross. Recent discoveries bear witness to the church’s existence in the Classical and High Medieval eras. XV Century frescoes of the Umbrian School still remain.
Living Nativity Scene
A "not to be missed" event in Passignano during the Christmas holiday season the Living Nativity Scene is organised every year by the Gruppo Ricreativo Passignanese. Their careful historical research brings to the remains of the Castello, in its nooks and cranies, the magical atmosphere of the nativity in a typical local setting, demonstrating the metiers and civic activities once played
out here in the Roman-Hebrew era. Considered one of the best of its genre in Umbria, it lets visitors be part of the scene as they wander around the scenes depicting an historic Bethlehem.
